O-MAN is a DJ, producer, and sound director based in Osaka, Japan.With a unique focus on the entertainment aspect of club music, he crafts genre-fluid sets thatblend elements of psytrance, techno, and house—building heavy, emotionally charged groovesthat captivate audiences both in Japan and internationally.Since the early 2000s, he has performed at major festivals and venues including SUMMERSONIC, Nagisa Music Festival, and UMF Korea, while sharing stages with global icons suchas Martin Garrix, Astrix, Vini Vici, and Calvin Harris. From 2006 to 2014, he was consistentlyranked in Japan’s leading music magazine LOUD’s Top DJ lists, cementing his place in thecountry’s electronic music scene.As the producer of the legendary Japanese dance-music project ALKALOID, O-MAN helpedpioneer the trance-dancer movement in Japan. He also performs as a live act with actor IsseiIshida in their band project PRISM MIND.While rooted in the underground club scene, O-MAN continues to expand his artistic reachthrough music production for fashion shows, visual media, and cross-genre collaborations.His recent appearance on HÖR OSAKA marks a new phase in his global output—alongsidelaunching a DJ academy and curating new event formats aimed at shaping the future of Japan’snightlife culture.
