Monica van der Meulen

Innovative creator and visionary project developer, dedicated to transforming urban life through immersive, multidisciplinary concepts. With a foundation in media, fashion, and spatial development, Monica channels creativity into shaping environments that directly address modern society’s overstimulation and wellness challenges. As founder of The Sanctuary Earth Foundation, her mission is to create The Sanctuary Project— urban sanctuaries designed as architectural sound sculptures inspired by the H₂O molecule. These biophilic, sustainable structures unite 4DSound technology, Sonic Spheres compositions, and scientific research from Erasmus MC to immerse visitors in resonance and coherence. More than spaces of rest, they are living instruments—tuning forks for the city—where art, science, and technology converge to restore balance, ignite inspiration, and reconnect people to themselves, each other, and the natural frequencies of the Earth
